We Three Shall Meet Again
A downloadable game
This is a story game, and the story goes like this: Once upon a time, on the edge of a dark forest, three witches were cursed to share one body. They took turns living out days, never meeting, communicating only by post-it notes and dirty dishes while they searched for a way free.
It’s a story about bad magic, bad bodies, and bad roommates.
You play in three acts: An in-person opening gathering, a time apart of asynchronous play through notes, and an in-person closing gathering. Each of you plays for about 30 minutes to 1 hour every week.
Will you break your curse? Will you return to your original body?

Each day you must balance researching magic to break your curse with tending to your cottage and your relationships with neighbors in the nearby village and forest.
Spend all day gathering components for a dangerous ritual, or take a relaxing bath. Whatever you do, end the day by writing about it in your journal, leaving your fellow witches a passive aggressive note on the fridge, and dreaming about the past while you sleep.
We Three comes with a whole grimoire of rituals to research and unlock. As you work out how to break your curse, you'll discover powerful spells that might save you from your current fate... or see you trapped in something far worse.
Will you share these with your coven? Or keep them all for yourself?
When it's not your turn to be awake, dream and sketch your way through your memories while collaborating with your fellow sleeping witch. Write fanfic about your own game as it's happening.
It's not a witch game without at least one cat familiar, guaranteed. You'll have to play to meet them, as well as 14 other potential villagers and forest dwellers, plus more of your own devising.
One day, with any luck.

This game is so much fun!!
I'm now playing for a third time and it's different every time. The allegories you can pull from this game - disability, plurality, queerness - are simultaneously subtle and not subtle at all, and they depend strongly on your playthrough. This is a perfect low-commitment game if you can't hop online every week; it's largely play by post/journaling game.
I love the form of this game and hop to see more asynchronous stuff arise!
